PURPOSE: A searching service providing method and display apparatus applying the same are provided to prevent repetitive search by temporary storing a search result in a special area. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(140) display a searching window which includes a second and a third area. The second area displays search result items as the fixed numbers. The third area displays the search result items selected by a user. A control unit(180) searches the information related a keyword and displays the searched result items at the second area. When s particular item is selected between the search result items displayed on the second area, the control unit displays the selected search result items on the third area.
