<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate type member transfer facility which can insert plate type members into a rack in a state that they are erected, and can extract the plate type members from the rack as they are in an erected state. <P>SOLUTION: A stocker facility 1 includes: a rack 32 for glass plates 2 encased side by side in a longitudinal direction in a state that they are erected; and a track robot 10 for moving the glass plates 2 laterally to receive with the rack 32. The track robot 10 has: a track travelling base 14; a flip; a track conveying base; and a roller. The flip is configured to rotate around an axis with respect to the track travelling base 14 by a flip actuator, and rotate to erect and upset the glass plates 2 loaded thereon.
