<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improvements for a head rest and a side frame which are found to lack strength in an emergency though various measures are taken because whiplash injury and other injury of disease or the like are caused since the head cannot protected by the head rest and the upper body cannot be protected by the side frame in a supporting structure of a bracket provided in a conventional upper frame. <P>SOLUTION: In the supporting structure of a headrest bracket, mounting wall pieces are formed on both ends in the longitudinal direction of a mounting portion of an upper frame, a clinch side surface of a bracket is spliced to the attaching portion, a welding point formed by the free end of the attaching wall piece and both the side surfaces of the bracket is welded, and the welded points made between the upper and/or lower ends of the attaching portion and with the side surface of the bracket provided on the upper and lower ends portion are welded in the horizontal direction of the upper frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
