<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast reception device and a control method therefor, capable of avoiding mutual interference between local oscillation circuits, in a configuration capable of receiving a broadcast wave of an identical channel simultaneously by a plurality of tuners. <P>SOLUTION: A broadcast reception device includes: a frequency variable unit 33 for switching a local oscillation frequency fc between an upper-side mode to convert into a higher frequency than the reception frequency fa of the reception channel and a lower-side mode to convert into a lower frequency, among frequencies convertible into an intermediate frequency fb; and in case of a reception channel change, a central control unit 32 for allowing the frequency variable unit 33 to switch the mode so that each tuner 11A, 11B has a different local oscillation frequency fc, based on the reception channel and the mode in each tuner 11A, 11B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
