TRAIN STOP POSITION DETECTING DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check that a train is on-rail at a fixed position stop position with a simple configuration and processing.

SOLUTION: A train stop position detecting device: measures a scan angle to edges A and B of both sides of connections 6 of a first vehicle 5a and a second vehicle 5b, and distance from a sensor reference position O to the edges A and B by scanning with a laser beam from an optical range finder 2; computes a position of a train traveling direction of the edges A and B of both sides of the connection part 6 of the first vehicle 5a and the second vehicle 5b to the fixed position reference position E which is a center of the train traveling direction of the fixed position stopping range of the train from the scan angle and the distance to the measured edges A and B; and determines whether the train is on-rail at the fixed position from the positions of the edges A and B to the computed fixed position reference position.
