<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the amount of added inorganic coagulant and a method for controlling coagulated flocs in a method for post addition of the inorganic coagulant, and an apparatus for performing the methods. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for dewatering sludge, which has a coagulation process 4 for adding a polymer coagulant 2 to organic sludge 1 to coagulate the sludge to form the coagulated flocs, a concentration process 5 for concentrating the formed coagulated flocs, an inorganic coagulant adding process 7 for adding the inorganic coagulant to the concentrated coagulated flocs, and a dewatering process 9 for mechanically dewatering the concentrated coagulated flocs to which the inorganic coagulant has been added, the inorganic coagulant addition 11 is performed in the inorganic coagulant adding process 7 so that the pH of the inorganic coagulant-added coagulated flocs is 8 or that the pH of the dewatering filtrate is 3-6, and/or an adjustment process 6 which adjusts the size of the concentrated coagulated flocs to 0.5-10 mm is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
