BACKLIGHT MODULE AND OPTICAL COMPONENT THEREOF

A backlight module (20) and an optical component (21) thereof are provided. The optical component (21) includes a substrate (211), a fluorescent layer (212) and a micro-structure (213). The substrate (211) possesses a first surface (2111) and a second surface (2112). The fluorescent layer (212) is coated on the first surface (2111) of the substrate (211) and the micro-structure (213) is arranged on the second surface (2112) of the substrate (211). The fluorescent layer (212) and the micro-structure (213) are separately arranged on the two sides of the substrate (211). The backlight module (20) further includes a fixed plate (22) and at least one semiconductor light emitting component (23). At least one of the incident beams is optically reflected or scattered by the micro-structure (213), and then uniformly penetrates through the micro-structure (213) and the substrate (211). A blue backlight penetrating through the fluorescent layer (212) and a yellow backlight excited via the fluorescent layer (212) are mixed to provide a white backlight with uniform light brightness and high brilliancy.
