<p>PURPOSE: An electric power generation apparatus for sewage and waste water disposal plants is provided to reduce energy consumption by reusing generated energy for a stirrer and a scrapper used for sewage and waste water disposal plants. CONSTITUTION: An electric power generation apparatus for sewage and waste water disposal plants comprises an aeration tank(100), a settling tank(200), a rectification chamber(500), a scraper(520), a rotary shaft(600), a turbine blade(620), and a generator(630). Sewage and waste water flow into the aeration tank. The settling tank is formed inside the aeration tank and discharges sludge deposited on the inner bottom of the aeration tank to the outside. The rectification chamber is formed in the top end of the settling tank and stirs the sludge with cohesive agents using a stirrer. The scrapper is formed in the bottom end of the settling tank and collects the stirred sludge. The rotary shaft simultaneously rotates the scraper and the stirrer. The turbine blade is formed in the end of a support formed in the top end of the rotary shaft and rotates the rotary shaft. The generator generates power when the rotary shaft is rotated.</p> |
