PURPOSE: A metal edge filtering apparatus is provided to save time and cost required for maintenance by effectively eliminating impurities attached to the filter cartridge after a long period of using time. CONSTITUTION: A metal edge filtering apparatus includes a housing(200), a filter cartridge(300), and a scraper(400). The housing includes a first space part(211). A draining valve(212) discharging impurities is in connection with the lower part of the housing. An inlet(221) is arranged at one side of the housing and receives cutting oil containing impurities. An outlet(222) is arranged at another side of the housing and discharges cutting oil without the impurities. The filter cartridge is installed in the first space part and is axially rotatable. A second space part(310) is arranged in the filter cartridge, and a plurality of filtering holes is formed on the surface of the filter cartridge. The scraper is vertically installed at the external side of the filter cartridge. End part of the scraper is elastically biased to the surface of the filter cartridge. Differential pressure of the first space part and the second space part rotates the filter cartridge. Impurities on the surface of the filter cartridge are eliminated by the scraper.
