PURPOSE: A device for quenching roll using water spray is provided to increase productivity by greatly reducing the quenching time of a roll and stably form fine martensite by relatively increasing cooling speed than air cooling. CONSTITUTION: A device for quenching roll using water spray comprises a roll rotating unit(10) and a water spray unit(30). For the roll rotating unit, two or more rotating rolls(12) receiving power from the outside are arranged side by side at an interval. The roll rotating unit puts a roll(1) in a heat treating process between the rotating rolls and rotates. The water spray unit is installed on the roll rotating unit and is located below the gap between the rotating rolls. The water spray unit sprays cooling water to the gap between the rotating rolls to the rotating roll.
