PURPOSE:To attain low power consumption while improving the response by classifying all processings into the 1st and 2nd groups having different period, placing priority to each group and executing the processing in the order of priority. CONSTITUTION:The system consists of a telephone set circuit section 10, a control section 20 receiving a charging signal transmitted from the station side through the circuit section 10 and controlling the deposition or the like of coins, and a coin processing section 30 storing selectively deposited coins based on a command from the control section 20 and return them to a return section. In the coin processing through the constitution above, all the processings are classified into those for the processings of the 1st group requiring to execute them in a short period of 4ms and of the 2nd group enough to be executed in a comparatively longer priod of 32ms, and the piority is placed over the processings in each group, the required processing is executed in accordance with the priority. When the processings are finished, a CPU 200 is brought into idle state until a new processing cycle is incoming, thereby improving the response and attains low power consumption.
