<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy, efficient and safe composition for suppressing reduction in a feeding amount of feed by livestock; and to provide a method for suppressing reduction in a feeding amount of the feed by the livestock. <P>SOLUTION: The composition (animal medicine or curing feed) contains difructose anhydride III (DFA III) comprising oligosaccharide with which two molecules of fructose are combined, and is orally administrated or fed to the livestock so as to suppress the reduction in the feeding amount of the feed by the livestock (particularly reduction in the feeding amount of the feed before or after delivery), prevent and treat livestock disease (perinatal disease or the like) caused by such reduction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
