<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus and an image display method that permit more flexible setting regarding a watching time of a 3D image. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device comprises: setting means that sets, in accordance with a designation from outside, limitation on a watching time of an image to be viewed three-dimensionally; measuring means that measures the watching time; and control means that determines whether or not the watching time is subject to the limitation and, if it is determined that the time is subject to the limitation, causes display means to give a display to indicate that the time is subject to the limitation. An image display method comprises: setting, in accordance with a designation from outside, limitation on a watching time of an image to be viewed three-dimensionally; determining whether or not the watching time is subject to the limitation and; if the time is determined to be subject to the limitation, causing display means to give a display to indicate that the time is subject to the limitation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
