<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed leaving sensor for detecting the in-bed/bed-leaving state of a person with good accuracy in a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A lower electrode 34 is fixed to a base 22 and lifted toward an upper electrode 32. A spacer 38 is disposed in a slit 36 of the base 22. When a person applies load to the upper electrode 32, the spacer 38 is elastically deformed and stored in the slit 36 so that the upper electrode 32 is superposed on the lower electrode 34 through an insulator 30. Thus, the electrostatic capacity of a capacitor largely changes between the state where a person applies load to the upper electrode 32 and the state where he does not do so, so that the person's in-bed/bed-leaving state can be detected with good accuracy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
