The invention provides an illuminating decorative panel (100) based on light-emitting diodes, which comprises a glazing pane (1), a first decorative area (60), visible as the front face (12), and a first group of light-emitting diodes (2), on the rear face (11) side. The panel includes a section strip (3) forming a reflector, which reflects the light from the diodes (2) and is placed on the rear face side, said section strip having a main reflecting surface (30) facing the group of diodes, which is oblique to the rear face and capable of directly receiving rays called the central rays from said first group of diodes and sending them onto the first diffusing means, and a reflecting surface called the upper surface (32) facing the rear face (11) and capable of directly receiving rays called the upper lateral rays (B) from said first group of diodes, diverging from the rear face (11), and sending them onto the first diffusing means (4) or onto the oblique main reflecting surface. The extent of the main reflecting surface (30) and the extent of the upper reflecting surface (32) are such that at least 80% of the upper lateral rays (B) are reflected onto the first diffusing means (4).
