摘要 The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for transmitting Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) signals. The method includes that: when transmitting PRACH signals, after frequency domain signals are pre-compensated according to an evaluated spectrum gain of a downlink channel, a terminal transforms the frequency domain signals into time domain signals and transmits the time domain signals to a base station. By measuring spectrum response of the downlink channel, when transmitting PRACH signals, the present invention pre-compensates frequency selective fading using the symmetry of an uplink channel and a downlink channel in a Time Division (TD) system, thus the disadvantageous influence upon the PRACH detection caused by multi-path signals can be effectively eliminated, and the detection probability of the PRACH signals and the measurement precision of the transmission delay can be enhanced.
