The present invention relates to a sink drainage device. The present invention provides an easily cleaned sink drainage system. In the sink drainage device, the space in which sewage stagnates inside a sump tank is removed to prevent foul odors or germs from being generated or propagated. Also, a slim trap is provided to address the limited installation space. In addition, the overflow function of a conventional water drainage device is limited to prevention of water from flowing over the sink. The drainage device according to one aspect of the present invention essentially includes a sump tank, a filtering mesh, a trap, and a valve structure for filling the sump tank with detergent. Pushing the filtering mesh operates a push-lock gearbox connected to a valve to open or close a water-sealing trap disposed on the lower end of the sump tank, thereby filling the sump tank with detergent and thus cleaning the inside of the sump tank. Thus, since the user opens or closes the water-sealing trap of the sump tank only by a pushing operation, the sump tank may be easily cleaned using the detergent. In addition, the limitation of conventional water drainage devices, i.e. that the valve was self-closing, can be overcome. Also, when the faucet is opened (overflow), the limitation of the inability of the water to be drained and said water therefore flowing over the sink is overcome. |
