<p>The device has pump (7) to convey water sample towards movable sample carrier (5). An image pickup unit (4) is arranged in opposition to sample carrier, and is connected to data processing unit (3). The sample carrier is provided with electromagnetic source (6) to irradiate electromagnetic radiation on the water sample. The water sample image captured during irradiation of electromagnetic radiation is analyzed by data processing unit, to identify deposits, microbiological substance, etc., in the water sample based on contour, size, color, grey value, or texture.</p> |
