PURPOSE: An auxiliary agent for dehydrating sludge and a method and an apparatus for dehydrating the sludge are provided to prevent the clogging phenomenon of filtering fabric by easily separating dehydrated cakes from the filtering fabric in case of compressive dehydration. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary agent for dehydrating sludge is composed of a plurality of fiber. 5 to 20 concave parts are longitudinally expanded along the outer circumference of the fiber. Lines are longitudinally expanded at the concave parts. The lines function as moisture transferring paths through which moisture is transferred based on a capillary action in case of the contact of sludge. The moisture content of the auxiliary agent is 30-80 weight%. The length and the fiber diameter of the auxiliary agent are 1 to 50mm and 1 to 100um, respectively.
