<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of exhibiting sufficient coming off preventing performance and achieving cost reduction by a simple installation. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe joint 10 has the joint body 12 and is used for taking out the branched pipe 102 from the water supply vertical pipe 100 of synthetic reading. The receiving openings 14 for receiving the pipe end of the water supply vertical pipe 100 are formed at both the ends in the vertical direction of the joint body 12 and the incore 38 is arranged spaced apart by the distance corresponding to the wall thickness of the water supply vertical pipe 100 in the inner face side of the receiving opening 14. Further, the slit 16 extending in an axial direction from the distal and to the deep side is formed in the receiving opening 14 and the flanges 18 facing each other spaced apart by the slit are coupled by the bolt and nut.
