<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a device by adopting a comparatively small magnetic core relative to the width of a bus bar, and to prevent the excessive heating of the bus bar, in a current detection device for detecting a current passing through the bus bar. <P>SOLUTION: A current detection device 1 is equipped with a current detection bus bar 30. The current detection bus bar 30 is made from a conductor formed with a first part 31 penetrating a hollow portion 11 of a magnetic core 10 in a first direction through which a current passes, and a plane-shaped second part 32 ranging to both sides in the first direction of the first part 31. The width D5 of the second part 32 is formed to be larger than the maximum width D3 of the hollow portion 11, and the minimum width D4 of an outline of a cross section of the first part 31 is formed to be larger than the thickness D6 of the second part 32. The magnetic core 10, the current detection bus bar 30, and a Hall element 20 are held by an insulation housing 40 so as not to contact with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
