<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the peeling of a magnetic steel sheet in a stacking direction in an axial gap type motor having a split core formed by stacking magnetic steel sheets. <P>SOLUTION: An axial gap type motor 20 comprises a housing 26, a stator 44, a receiving member 45 and a rotor 27. A stator core 46 of the stator 44 is annularly formed by arranging a plurality of split cores 48, which is formed by stacking magnetic steel plates 49 in an axial direction S1, in a circumferential direction C1. The receiving member 45 comprises a first receiving part 55 which receives one end face 48a of each split core 48, a second receiving part 56 which receives an other end face 48b of each split core 48 and a fixing part 57 which fixes the receiving parts 55 and 56. The rotor 27 includes a pair of annular permanent magnets 34 and 35 which are opposing each other across the stator 44 in the axial direction S1 and a rotor core 33 which connects the pair of permanent magnets 34 and 35 with each other so that they can be rotated integrally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
