INVERTED MOVING BODY AND GETTING ON/OFF METHOD THEREOF

An inverted moving body (1) travels with an inverted state maintained. The inverted moving body is provided with a specifying means (7, 21) for specifying a position of a predetermined distance from a step portion (2a) on and off which a passenger gets when the passenger gets on and off the step portion. The specifying means may project (7) a predetermined shape on the position of the predetermined distance from the step portion or may move a vehicle member (21) to the position of the predetermined distance from the step portion. Further, the inverted moving body may be provided with a position detection means (31) for detecting a position of the feet of the passenger and a contact judgment means (32) for judging whether the feet are in contact with the moving body on the basis of the position of the feet detected by the position detection means.
