A reprocessable liquid cartridge (40) includes a replaceable sensor (140). A storing portion (42) stores liquid and a liquid path (43) is for a fluid communication between the storing portion (42) and a device which the liquid cartridge is to be installed. A movable member (60) moves inside the liquid path between a position to allow the flow of the liquid and another position to stop the flow of the liquid. A sensor (140) outputs signals corresponding to the positions of the movable member (60). A memory (141) stores at least values corresponding to the signals and the product life of the sensor (140). A controller (100) examines the values in the memory whether or not the sensor (140) is to be replaced and the liquid cartridge (40) is to be reprocessed.
