The hydraulic arrangement comprises valve-controlled displacement unit (1,2), which has multiple cylinder-piston units that limit a pressure chamber. A valve is provided for reduction of pressure surges in a high pressure line (4) or reducing torque surges at a shaft (12,14), which is controlled by an electrical control unit (8). An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a valve-controlled displacement unit.
