<p>Provided are a hemostatic cotton compress with improved workability without loss of astriction effects when indwelling arteriovenous needles are used in artificial dialysis, injection, drip infusion, blood-drawing, etc. and the needle, etc. is withdrawn from the puncture site, and a production method therefor. The hemostatic cotton compress and production method therefor involve one-piece molding of a fibrous substance. The compress has a surface for compressing a specified hemostasis site and, forming a portion of said surface to be flat or curved, a portion of said surface is provided with a groove for engaging the needle or the plastic tube attached thereto.</p> |
