PURPOSE: A door actuator of an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle is provided to increase space utilization and reduce total length of a case by arranging an actuating rod and a solenoid valve in parallel. CONSTITUTION: A door actuator of an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle comprises a driving motor(100), an operating gear(200), a change gear unit(300), a solenoid unit(400), a first driving gear(510), and a second driving gear(520). The driving motor has a worm wheel(110), and is built in a case(800). A worn screw thread, engaged with the worm wheel, is formed on the exterior of the operating gear and an operating screw part is formed in one side of the operating gear. The change gear unit moves to be engaged with the operating screw part. The solenoid unit makes the change gear unit move forth and back. The first driving gear is installed in one side of the case to be engaged with the change gear unit moving in one direction. The second driving gear is installed in the other side of the case to be engaged with the change gear unit moving in other direction.
