<p>Apparatus and method to detect one or more keys of a mobile wireless electronic device that have received an activating input, e.g., have been pressed, interrogates simultaneously several keys of a group of keys to reduce time required to detect which of the keys is pushed to provide inputs to the electronic device. The keys are arranged in a two dimensional matrix that facilitates organized interrogation of the keys. Resistors are used in providing a decoupling effect with respect to the antenna function of the wireless electronic device.</p> |
