PURPOSE: A headlight for a vehicle and a headlight device for the vehicle are provided to reduce the number of components by using one set of lamp units. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor type light source(5L) includes a substrate(50) fixed to a light source holder(4), a light emitting chip installed on the substrate, and a light transmission sealing member(51). The sealing member forms a light emitting unit of the semiconductor type light source. The center of the sealing member corresponds to the center of the light emission of the semiconductor type light source. A reflector is made of a non-transmission resin member. A long rectangular window(63) is installed in the center of the closed part of the reflector. The light source holder is inserted into the window unit of the reflector. The reflector is fixed to a heat sink member(40).
