PURPOSE: A gamma correcting device and a method thereof and a display driving device and a method thereof are provided to classify the types of input images using the average image level and histogram of the input images. CONSTITUTION: A signal separating unit(110) separates input images into brightness data and color difference data. An image classifying unit(120) classifies the types of the input images. A gamma correcting unit(130) corrects the gamma of the brightness data by an image classification signal. A data generating unit(140) generates a data signal based on the color difference data and the corrected brightness data. |
