The method involves attaching a compression spring (5) working on a counter contact partner to a contact housing (4) that is formed for accommodation of the counter contact partner. An electrical conductor (3) of a cable (2) is electrically connected to a contact partner (1). The contact housing is additionally provided with a contact part (6) at which an electrical conductor is attached by soldering or welding such as friction welding to the contact housing, where the contact part is designed for execution of joining process. An independent claim is also included for a contact partner comprising a contact housing.
