<p>A laminate of a thermoplastic halocarbon polymer which comprises a laminate of (i) a layer of a modified thermoplastic ialocarbon (chloro- or fluorocarbon) polymer incorporating at east one functional group (a) which is a carboxyl, acid anhydride, hydroxyl or epoxy group, e.g. a modified vinylidene fluoride, and (ii) a layer of a modified a-olefin-series polymer ncorporating a different one of the groups (a), e.g. a modified polyethylene.</p><p>Both polymers may be mixed with other polymers e.g. (i) a methyl methacrylate and (ii) a polyamide or polyester. The amount of each functional group is 0.001-0.3 mol/100 g. The aminates can include other layers. The layers may be adhered by heat or adhesive.</p><p>The laminates have high peeling strength and exhibit the advantages of both the polymers.</p> |
