The arrangement has a global positioning system (GPS)-portable radio telematic system (1), which is connected with a display and input device (3) via serial interfaces (4). The display and input device is coupled with a box of the telematic system via a data link (2). The display and input device is provided with a display panel, a card reading unit for a chip card (10) and pushbuttons (12-14, 16) for manual inputs. The card reading unit reads identification and authentication of a vehicle user based on data stored on a server (6). |
