<p>SCAFFOLD PLANK A strong, lightweight wooden Scaffold Plank is disclosed. The Scaffold Plank provides the strength and lightness of aluminum planks but avoids the problem of electrical conductivity. The Scaffold Plank is constructed of three parallel, wooden frame members having a flat upper surface and a convex lower surface, and upper and lower plywood decks. Joints between adjoining plywood sections of the decks are staggered as between the upper and lower deck for added strength. Plywood reinforcing elements are applied to overlap the interior surface of such joints. Handle means are provided at either end of the plank by a dowel extending between the side frame members.</p> |
