Method and device for cleaning a cut hydraulic hose

The method involves pre-cutting hydraulic hose (1) along length using pre-purified compressed air blown into the pre-cut hose end (4). The injected compressed air is sucked through pre-cut end of hose at distance from the axial end of the hose in radial direction. The axial spacing of injected air from the pre-cut end of hose during sucking of air is reduced. An independent claim is included for device for cleaning cut hydraulic hose.
