<p>The device (3) has a heating and cooling device exposed to pressure applied by pressure applying elements, where the heating and cooling device has layers arranged in a stack. Conveyor belts or ends of the belts to be vulcanized are arranged in a width direction parallel to the layers, and a heat conducting layer is arranged on a side of the belts and/or the ends, where the heat conducting layer is made of heat-conductive metal and has a cooling element, a heating element and non-porous insulating layers. A seal is made of thermally loadable fluoro-elastomer. The non-porous insulating layers of the heat conducting layer are made of aerogel and/or aerogel-containing material, and the heating and cooling device has an insulating layer made of heat-proof plastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for repairing conveyor belts and/or connecting ends of the conveyor belts.</p> |
