PURPOSE: An overflow preventing apparatus for river bank is provided to ensure convenient construction and maintenance in bank of urban river with various limitations. CONSTITUTION: An overflow preventing apparatus for river bank comprises a housing space(101) which is formed in a groove shape on the top of a bank(100), an air bag(103) which is fixed inside the housing space by a fixing unit and expanded with compressed air, and a panel(107) which is hinged by a pivot shaft(108) to one side of the housing space.
