PURPOSE: A vacuum block for die casting or injection molding is provided to prevent a mold and a vacuum machine from becoming damaged since only air is discharged from a mold unit. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum block for die casting or injection molding comprises an upper plate(100) and a lower plate(200). The vacuum block works a middle connecting unit of a mold and a vacuum machine to remove air from the mold. An impurity shaping unit(20) and a cooling unit(30) are prepared. The impurity shaping unit and the cooling unit solidify materials incoming to prevent melted casting and injection materials discharged with air from entering the vacuum machine. A fastening unit enhances the coupling force of a mold unit. When the vacuum machine is connected to the mold unit, the vacuum block prevents impurities from a shaping material from entering the vacuum machine.
