PURPOSE: A bridgeless power factor compensation method and an apparatus thereof are provided to increase power factor of AC power source system using a power factor compensation circuit. CONSTITUTION: A control circuit(314) provides a switching cycle. The control circuit generates a return signal. The control circuit generates a control signal with respect to a first switch(303) for the switching cycle. The control circuit receives a first signal. The control circuit generates a duty cycle with respect to the first switch by comparing the first signal with the return signal. |
