PURPOSE: A needle roller for a needle roller bearing and a needle roller manufacturing method are provided to minimize frictional force of both ends of a needle roller. CONSTITUTION: A needle roller for a needle roller bearing is as follows. A needle roller material(10) made of coil with a fixed thickness is cut in a fixed length. The cut needle roller materials are put into a sphere shape molder. The both end point of the needle material is struck to the high speed rotation. The both end point of the needle roller material is molded spherically. A spherical part(13) projected to a straight line portion(12) of the needle roller material is grinded. The heat-treatment is performed in order to improve the abrasion resistance of the needle roller.
