REAL-TIME THREE DIMENSION FORMATING MODULE FOR ULTRA HIGH-DEFINITION IMAGE AND SYSTEM USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A real time 3D formatting module for a high quality image and a real time 3d formatting system using the same are provided to enable an encoder/decoder unit to code an image without separate data processing for a 3D format, thereby minimizing delay. CONSTITUTION: A 3D input channel unit(100) receives an UHD(Ultra High Definition) image as raw data corresponding to four HD image frames. A pre-processing unit(200) selectively receives an individual HD image according to a 3D format and checks whether each piece of raw data is synchronized. The pre-processing unit provides raw data for a 3D image by arranging the received raw data. An encoder/decoder unit(300) encodes and decodes the raw data for a 3D image. A high speed storage medium(400) stores the 3D image.
