1. Process for solidifying tritium from HTO-containing liquids, wherein, after enrichment of the HTO in the liquid, the latter is, at least in part, converted into a gas containing tritium, characterized in that a) the HTO-containing liquid is brought into contact with a hydrolysable substance, whereupon one of the two hydrolysis products, which contains tritium, occurs in its gaseous state and is separated from the other hydrolysis product ; b) the gaseous hydrolysis product is brought into contact with a protonatable substance, which is formed from at least one compound having a rigid structure, and with sterically difficultly accessible N-atoms from the group b1 ) bicyclic N-compounds having a maximum of 5 brinding atoms with and without donors ; b2 ) bis-N-alkylated, polycondensed, aromatic diamines ; in a solution, whereby a tritiated ammonium salt of this substance is produced ; c) the salt is separated from this solution and d) is incorporated in a leaching-resistant solidifying matrix in a manner known per se. |
