摘要 PURPOSE: A lower stiffener apparatus of a vehicle for reducing lower body injuries of pedestrians is provided to reduce injuries of pedestrians due to angle sensing by a lower stiffener and repair charges for a front-end module generated by a low speed collision are reduced. CONSTITUTION: A lower stiffener apparatus of a vehicle for reducing lower body injuries of pedestrians comprises a lower stiffener(110), first and second side members(120,130), first and second actuators(150,160), an angle sensor(140), and an impact determining unit(170). The lower stiffener is mounted on the front side of a front-end module on the front side of a vehicle body to buffer the impact in a pedestrian collision. The first and second side members are formed in the lower parts of both sides, thereby supporting the lower stiffener. The first and second actuators are respectively mounted in the lower parts of the first and second side members, thereby transferring the lower stiffener to the front side or the rear side. The angle sensor is connected to the lower stiffener and detects a displacement angle of the lower stiffener. The impact determination unit determines the impact to the lower stiffener according to the detected angle by the angle sensor. The impact determination unit outputs driving signals which make the first and second actuators to drive to the front side or the rear side.
