PURPOSE: A camera module and exposure control method thereof are provided to control the brightness of a preview image by controlling the shutter speed of a camera module. CONSTITUTION: A capturing unit(10) captures images by controlling a shutter speed according to a control signal. A display unit(30) displays the image. When two or more specific areas are selected from the allocated area of the display unit, a control unit(20) transmits a first shutter speed control signal to the capturing unit. The first shutter speed control signal changes the average brightness of the specific area into reference brightness. |
