PURPOSE: A method for separation installation of a thruster and a canister in a drill ship is provided to reduce the construction costs for a drill ship because a thruster is assembled in a trunk of the drill ship on land. CONSTITUTION: A method for separation installation of a thruster and a canister in a drill ship is as follows. A canister installed in a trunk of a drill ship, which is supported by supports installed in a dock, is lifted and drawn out of a hull and set on a canister storage bed(S1). A thruster is lifted and set on a platen, which is installed between the supports supporting the drill ship, to be located under the trunk(S2). The canister set on the storage bed is lifted and installed in the trunk(S3). The canister installed in the trunk and the thruster set on the platen are assembled inside the trunk(S4). |
