GESTURE COMMAND METHOD AND TERMINAL USING BEZEL OF TOUCH SCREEN

PURPOSE: A gesture command method using the bezel of a touch screen and terminal thereof are provided to improve the utilization of a main space by establishing a gesture command according to user environment. CONSTITUTION: A sensing unit(122) senses connecting points which are successively sensed as a gesture input by using an input pattern. A pattern recognition unit(130) recognizes the input pattern which uses the bezel and the input pattern including the location information of the bezel. A command establishment unit(140) stores user environment in order to match the user environment with a command corresponding to the input pattern. A control unit(160) executes a matching command which matches the pattern recognition unit with the input pattern. The pattern recognition unit classifies the location of the bezel.
