PURPOSE: A coffee extracting apparatus and a method thereof are provided to improve portability because the apparatus has a compact portable structure extracting 5 to 15g of coffee for one to two people at once and operates by using a car cigarette socket as a driving power source. CONSTITUTION: A coffee extracting apparatus(100) comprises a grinding unit(120), a heating unit(140), a shifting unit(170), and an extracting unit(180). A cutter is formed in the inner part of the grinding unit, thereby grinding green beans to 0.5mm or less. The heating unit comprises a hollow heating container(150) located in the lower part of the grinding unit. The hollow heating container receives the ground green beans. The shifting unit comprises a lid opening and closing the lower part of the hollow heating container of the heating unit. The shifting unit comprises a solenoid(174) transferring the lid to left and right sides. The extracting unit receives the roasted and ground green beans in the inner part by an opening operation and extracts espresso coffee by passing steam of high pressures and water of high temperatures through the roasted and ground green beans. |
