摘要 PURPOSE: A method for enhancing antibiotic productivity by genetic manipulation is provided to inactivate SCO1712 genes. CONSTITUTION: A method for improving antibiotic productivity comprises a step of inactivating SCO1712 genes from a Streptomyces sp. microorganism. The Streptomyces sp. microorganism is Streptomyces coelicolor which is a variant strain of an inactivated wblA gene. The SOC1712 gene is substituted with a vector containing aprR(apramycin resistant gene)-oriT genes. The aprR-oriT gene has a base sequence of sequence number 1. The antibiotics are actinorhodin(ACT) or undecylprodigiosin(RED).
