PURPOSE: A server system for preventing a call cut in using the TLS(Transport Layer Security) of a diameter protocol and a controlling method thereof are provided to improve the operating stability of a communication system by optimizing a TCP(Transmission Control Protocol)/SCTP(Stream Control Transmission Protocol) communication environment. CONSTITUTION: A client(200) transmits client hello message to a server(300). The server transmits server hello message to a client. Information exchange of a protocol version, a session ID, code combination, a compression method, and an initial random number is completed between the client and the server. The server transmits authentication message to the client. Server key exchange message, authentication request message, and server hello completion message are successively transmitted.
