PURPOSE: A system and method for testing vocabulary are provided to support customized learning for a level to a learner through a vocabulary level given. CONSTITUTION: A system(100) for testing vocabulary comprises a word data managing unit(120), a question creation unit(125), a data providing unit(115), a data receiving unit(110), an answer scoring unit(130), a vocabulary level output unit(135), and a member data managing system(140). The word data managing unit subdivides the M number of a word with the manipulation of an operator terminal into the M number of a level group of N and stores and extracts the L number of the word by level group. The question creation unit creates question data extracted by word. The data providing unit offers the question data created to a learner terminal. The data receiving unit receives answer data for the question data from the learner terminal. The answer scoring unit marks the answer data received and calculates the number of a correct answer. The vocabulary level output unit determines the vocabulary level of a learner based on the number of the correct answer calculated. The member data managing unit matches a determined vocabulary level with the data of the learner and stores. |
